Operations

The Operations Division is the largest of the three divisions within the Forest Park Police Department. The Operation Division is responsible for the daily operation of providing Police Service to the Citizen such as call response, traffic enforcement and special event planning. Available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week patrol officers perform the primary police function of first responders, often taking immediate action to safe guard the citizens of Forest Park. Our uniformed patrol officers have adopted a community oriented policing philosophy to deal with criminal activity in our community. They have additionally utilized a variety of techniques to patrol our village such as foot and bicycle patrols to allow them to have greater interaction with the community.
