Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for follow-up investigation of all crimes reproted to the Police Department. The Investigations Division supervisor reviews almost 5,000 reports annually to identify cases designated for further action. Investigative specialties include juvenile crimes, property crimes, crimes against persons, auto theft, crimes against the elderly and finacial crimes. The Detectives, Tactical officers and patrol officers continue to work together in order to solve as many cases as possible.
