Crime Scene Investigators CSI’s

The Village of Forest Park has some of the best Crime Scene Investigators in the Western Suburbs. A total of ten officers have been trained not only through NEMRT, but have also spent as many as seven weeks per officer studying at Northwestern’s Center for Public Safety, located in Evanston, Illinois. There they received an award of achievement for the successful completion of the Center of Public Safety 200 hour series for Criminal Forensic Investigative techniques. Forest Park’s CSI also are responders for the western suburbs major Crimes Task Force, (WESTAF) which is activated for homicides and other crimes of a serious nature.
