Parking Ticket Amnesty Program begins: September 1st, 2025

By admin | Uncategorized | 0 comment | 20 August, 2025 | 0

The Village of Forest Park Police Department is extending a reduction of all outstanding parking tickets that have not been paid for and have not yet gone to collections. The amnesty program will allow for all those owing unpaid parking tickets which have incurred late fees and penalties to pay the original amount of the citation.
The Parking Ticket Amnesty Program will assist in the recovery of funds owed to the Village of Forest Park and ease the financial burden of debtors in these trying economic times. “Our goal is simple” stated Chief Gross, “to help ease the financial burden to those who owe us for outstanding parking tickets and reduce the number of debtors to the Village.”
This program is scheduled to run from 9/1/2025 to 11/15/2025.

The Forest Park Police Department Parking Division is offering a one-time amnesty program for unpaid parking, red light, and local ordinance citations that are in collections. The program allows a one-time 50% reduction of the balance owed on overdue citation(s) in collections if paid in full between September 1st and November 15th, 2025.

Amnesty Program

• The amnesty program allows a one-time 50% reduction of the balance owed on overdue citations in collections if paid in full on or before November 15th, 2025.
• The 50% reduction is available to anyone with overdue parking, red light, or local ordinance citations that have been sent to our collection agency prior to September 1st, 2025.
• The amnesty period expires on November 15th, 2025. No extensions beyond that date will be granted. After November 15th, 2025 the full debt will be due.
• No refunds for payments made prior to the amnesty period will be issued.

To take advantage of this one-time offer, contact Municipal Collections Service LLC at (708) 613-2062 to make your payment.
For more information regarding the amnesty program. Please contact the Forest Park Police Department Parking Division at (708) 366-7272.

The Village of Forest Park Police Department Parking Division would like to extend a reduction of all outstanding parking tickets, prior to July 16th 2025, that have NOT yet been paid and have not gone into collections to the original amount of the parking ticket, thereby excluding late fines or penalties.
